  • On April 26, 2003, the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation presented "Tramps Like Us," the Ultimate Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tribute at the Lions Den on Sullivan Street in New York City. This event was a great time, as it was a true celebration of music and great memories.

Among other things, Marc was a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. In addition to his passion for Bruce, Marc enjoyed many nights in the village going to see Tramps Like Us re-create the magic of Bruce and the E Street Band with family and friends. Therefore, it is only fitting to pay tribute to Marc and raise money for the foundation in his honor with a special performance by Tramps Like Us, in their first appearance back in Greenwich Village in five years.

This event was a great success as it brought together many people, of many different talent levels to compete in an organized tournament. We thank everyone for their generosity and commitment to competing in the tournament and to those for dedicating their valuable time. Much appreciation goes out to our wonderful sponsors, Manhattan Steak, AA Entertainment, Coca-Cola and Chase Bank.
