    On November 18, 2023 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 22nd Annual Benefit Concert with the Gilfords and Stifler's Mom at The Gramercy Theatre in New York. It was an amazing night with the two of the most popular bands in New York and MSZ Foundation favorites rocking all night to the best songs of the 80’s & 90’s. It was another sell-out crowd and we far exceeded our fundraising goals. This event could not take place without the tremendous support and generosity of our event sponsors and large donors.     On November 19, 2022 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 21st Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords, K-Rock – The 90’s and Come Together at The Gramercy Theatre in New York. We were back to full capacity at Gramercy with three of our favorite bands rocking out all night long. Come Together was back with a powerful performance of Beatles and Stones classic. K-Rock the 90’s Tribute returned to our stage and performed a set of 90’s favorites and our longest running band, The Gilfords had the crowd singing and dancing to the greatest hits of the 80’s. This event has become such a special NYC tradition and we’re so appreciate of all the support that has allowed us to again raise significant money for Organization for Autism Research (OAR), Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Unit, Anchor Program Fund, The Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund and many other amazing organizations.

    On November 20, 2021 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 20th Annual Benefit Concert with The GilfordsK-Rock – The 90’s and Come Together at The Gramercy Theatre in New York. We were back at Gramercy Theatre after a one year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it was truly a special night. Come Together opened our show once again and had everyone dancing and singing to the music of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. K-Rock – The 90’s Tribute, led by Jon Rizzo made their debut at our event and rocked the house with a long set of the best songs of the 90’s. Out great friends from The Gilfords closed the night out with a hard charging performance of 80’s rock hits. It was truly special to be back live and person with everyone and we’re truly appreciate of all our supporters for joining us in person and celebrating the live return of our event and helping us to arrange significant money for Organization for Autism Research (OAR), Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Unit, Anchor Program Fund, The Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund and many other amazing organizations.

    On November 21, 2020 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 19th Annual Benefit Concert via Live Stream, featuring a virtual full-set performance from Garden State Radio, performing the hits from the 90’s, Y2K and today. The event also featured a special live acoustic performance from Jonathan Rizzo of Empire Radio and a classic archival performance from The Gilfords, performing rock hits from the 80's. In a year of in person live events being put on hold and fundraising being met with challenges, we can't thank our supporters enough for allowing our tradition to continue through this medium and raising significant money in honor of Marc, in support of children, including The Organization for Autism Research (OAR), Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Unit, Anchor Program Fund and the Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund.

  • On November 16, 2019 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 18th Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords, Stifler’s Mom and Come Together at The Gramercy Theatre in New York. Our first show at Gramercy Theatre was a complete sell-out and set fund raising records with The Gilfords once again anchoring our show with a high energy performance of the best songs of the 80’s. Stifler’s Mom made a welcome return to our event, taking us on a tour of the 90’s with a super medley of rock, pop and hip-hop from this amazing era of music. Come Together opened the show and got the night started in style with a super charged tribute to the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Overall, it was our best show to date, as Gramercy Theatre proved to be a great setting for our show and we set a new record, raising close to $70,000 in honor of Marc, in support of The Organization for Autism Research (OAR), Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Unit, the Marc Zepiin Scholarship Fund and other children's charities and organizations.

  • On November 17, 2018 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 17th Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords, Garden State Radio and Come Together at Irving Plaza in New York. It was another amazing event as over 900 people rocked out to the greatest songs of the decades with three amazing bands. The Gilfords took us back in time to the 80’s, playing all our favorite song and keeping the party going all night. Garden State Radio performed the hits of the 90’s, Y2K and today, bringing a state-of-the-art light show and visual performance that had the crowd in awe. Come Together kicked off the night in style with an incredible performance of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. It was an incredible night, as we broke attendance records and raised over $60,000 in honor of Marc, in support of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Care Unit, programs for children with special needs, the Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund and other children's charities and organizations.

  • 16th Annual Marc Zeplin Foundation Benefit

    On November 18, 2017 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 16th Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords and Stifler's Mom at Irving Plaza in New York. For the fourth straight year we were back at the legendary Irving Plaza where we celebrated the music of the 80's with The Gilfords and welcomed back Stifler's Mom to take us on a musical tour of the 90's. The Gilfords rocked the house as always, headling our event and performing the best of Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Def Leppard and Bryan Adams. Stifler's Mom, playing this event for the second time, kicked off the night in style, paying tribute to the 90's with hits by Pearl Jam, Gin Blossoms, Nirvana and Alanis Morrisette. It was an amazing night, as we raised over $50,000 in honor or Marc, in support of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Care Unit, programs for children with special needs, the Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund and other children's charities and organizations.

  • Marc Zeplin Benefit Concert

    On November 19, 2016 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 15th Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords and Weird Science at Irving Plaza in New York. We were back again at the legendary Irving Plaza where we celebrate the music of the 80's with two of the best 80's tribute bands on the East Coast. The Gilfords headlined for the 4th straight year, rockin' the house to the best of the 80's, including Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses and Prince. The event kicked off with Weird Science's fun take on the 80's, complete with neon and costume changes.     On November 21, 2015 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 14th Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords – NYC #1 80’s Rock Band and Elektrik Company – The Ultimate Disco Tribute at Irving Plaza in New York. It was great to back at the legendary Irving Plaza, as we had a packed house in attendance reliving the greatest songs of the 70’s & 80’s.     On November 22, 2014 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 13th Annual Benefit Concert with The Gilfords – NYC’s #1 80's Band and Stifler's Mom – The Ultimate 90's Experience at Irving Plaza in New York. With over 1,000 people in attendance, we had the honor of a sell out show at one of NYC's most prestigious music venues, which has hosted some of the greatest acts in rock music history. The Gilfords were back to headline this year’s event and performed a full-length concert of the best rock songs of the 80’s, keeping the party going well into the early morning. Stifler’s Mom kicked off the show in style, taking the crowd on a tour of rock and pop culture’s final decade of the 20th century. It was a truly a memorable and historic night for the foundation, as we raised over $50,000 in honor of Marc, in support of Memorial Sloan Kettering's Pediatric Care Unit, the Marc Zeplin Scholarship fund and other children’s charities.

  • Marc eplin Benefit Concert

    On November 23, 2013 The Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 12th Annual Benefit Concert celebrating the music of Billy Joel and the 80's with The Gilfords - NYC's #1 80's Band and Cold Spring Harbor Band - Billy Joel Tribute at Le Poisson Rouge in New York. The Gilfords headlined this years event, as they played 3 hours of the greatest hits of the 80's and kept everyone dancing into the early morning. They were preceded by the newest addition to our event, The Cold Spring Harbor Band. This extremely talented 7 piece ensemble, led by vocalist/pianist Pat Farrell had the crowd singing along to the amazing music of Billy Joel. In addition, singer/guitarist Daniel Miz, joined by some talented friends, was back to open up the show and perform an outstanding acoustic set and the great DJ-I Storm kept everyone on the dance floor between live music sets. Overall, it was a huge turnout of over 700 people and we raised well over $40,000 in support of Memorial Sloan-Kettering's Pediatric Care Unit.

    On November 17, 2012 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 11th Annual Benefit Concert with Tramps Like Us- The Greatest Springsteen Tribute and The Gilfords -NYC's #1 80's Band at Le Poisson Rouge in New York. Tramps Like Us brought the power and energy of Springsteen to Bleecker Street with a great performance of old and new material. The Gilfords took the stage before them and played an hour long set of 80's staples that had the crowd dancing from their first note. Talented singer/guitarist Daniel Miz, opened the show, with a great acoustic set. Overall, the event was a huge success, raising close to $40,000 for children's charities in memory of Marc.   • On November 19, 2011 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 10th Annual Benefit Concert with Tramps Like Us: The Greatest Springsteen Tribute at Hiro Ballroom in the Maritime Hotel in New York City. With over 1,000 people in attendance, this concert was by far the largest and most successful event in the history of our foundation. Our record breaking crowd rocked out to an amazing 3 hour performance by Tramps Like Us, which included a return performance by American Idol alumni and recording artist Katie Stevens. The event was kicked into high gear with an incredible performance by The Gilfords, New York City's #1 80's band, who got the packed crowd on their feet. The night started out with a performance by On The Fifty, playing an impressive set of original music. Overall, the event was a huge success, raising close to $50,000 for children's charities in memory of Marc.   • On April 3, 2011, The Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted their 5th Family Fun Day at the Westchester Skating Academy in Elmsford, NY. Parents and children enjoyed a special Sunday evening of ice skating in support of The Marc S. Zeplin Foundation and its commitment to Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Tuesday's Children's Common Bond Fund. In addition to the ice skating, families enjoyed dinner, music, popcorn, cup-cake decorating, balloonist, magician and a live ice show by The Skyliners! Special congratulations to Ryan Zeplin for his participation in this event and his work with these wonderful charitable organizations in support of his mitzvah project.

  • On November 20, 2010 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 9th Annual benefit concert with Tramps Like Us: The Greatest Springsteen Tribute at Crash Mansion in New York City's East Village. The return to Crash Mansion for the second year in a row brought a complete sell out of over 600 tickets and once again an incredible performance by Tramps Like Us, electrifying the super enthusiastic crowd with Springsteen classics. The show was highlighted by a special surprise performance by American Idol superstar, Katie Stevens, as well as a return performance by original E Street drummer and legendary NJ rocker, Vini "Maddog" Lopez. The event kicked off with an incredible rock set by New York City's best 80's cover band, The Gilfords and an acoustic performance by Joey Spallina. All in all it was the most successful benefit concert yet, with over $25,000 raised.   • On June 19, 2010 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation sponsored a benefit concert for Autism Speaks with Tramps Like Us: Greatest Springsteen Tribute at Vintage in White Plains, NY.

    Our traditional fall concert was brought up to Westchester for a summer event, as Tramps rocked a sell-out crowd of over 300 people. All proceeds from this event went towards Autism Speaks, an organization that has grown into the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. The event raised over $10,000 in support of this great organization.   • On November 14, 2009 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 8th Annual benefit concert with Tramps Like Us: The Ultimate Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Tribute at Crash Mansion in New York City's East Village. The new venue added to the excitement of this incredible event, with advanced tickets selling out days before the show. In total, over 500 people were in attendance, which was complete with another amazing performance by Tramps, rocking the stage for close to 3 1/2 hours. Tramps' set was highlighted by original E Street drummer Vini "Maddog" Lopez, fresh off his on-stage reunion with Bruce a month earlier, performing many of the early Springsteen classics with the band. The event was kicked off with an acoustic performance by Joey Spallina and a great rock set by Medixx. All total, this year's event was an incredible success, raising close to $20,000!

  • On September 16, 2007 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted their 2nd Family Fun Day in Harrison, NY. It was a beautiful afternoon in Westchester as the children enjoyed an incredible carnival complete with rides, arts & crafts, balloonists, jugglers, DJ's and all the carnival snacks you can think of. Incredible work by Debra Zeplin, Stefanie Mittman and their committee in putting this event together.

  • On May 7, 2006 the The Marc S. Zeplin Foundation organized a team for the 2nd Annual Walk the Walk

    Walk the Walk is a walkathon for families and friends, including many fun family activities, such as jumping castles, arts and crafts and more. The Proceeds from the walk will support important programs and services at the children's hospital.


  • On March 18, 2006 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted the 4th Annual Marc S. Zeplin Foundation 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge at Basketball City in Manhattan

    This years tournament was another huge success, with a tremendous turnout of teams competing for this years championship. For the 3rd time in 4 years, Footprintz Consulting, led by their captain Trever Holland took home the title in the A division in a rematch from last years final against The Hoop Wizards. Jersey Boys, led by their captain Scott Wolfson took the B league title.

    Special donations were made at this years event to Jacob's Cure and the Dysautonomia Foundation.

  • On November 19, 2005 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 4th Annual Benefit Concert with Tramps Like Us: The Ultimate Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Tribute at the Lions Den in New York City. Tramps along with Special Guests: Banned performed in front of the largest crowd in the history of this event. Tramps was joined for 3 songs by Original E Street Band drummer Vini "Maddog" Lopez in a very special appearance. Proceeds from this years event will go towards rebuilding schools in the Gulf area, damaged in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

  • On Sunday May 15th, 2005 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted their First Family Fun Day at Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison, NY. The carnival was an amazing success as the threatening skies gave way to sunshine and smiles as hundreds of children got to enjoy a wonderful day. The carnival had everything for kids of all ages, including a DJ, Castle Bounce, Bungee Run, Juggler, Stilt Walker, Balloonist, Arts & Crafts and of course Carnival Games. There was also plenty of amazing prizes given out, and the kids snacked on popcorn, cotton candy, pucker powder and ice cream all afternoon.

    The turnout from the community was amazing, as over $70,000 was raised from this wonderful event. The proceeds from this event will be donated to Save the Children, an organization founded in the United States in 1932 as a nonprofit child-assistance organization to make lasting positive change in the lives of children in need. Save the Children is the leading international organization creating real and lasting change for children in need. The agency works in more than 40 countries worldwide, including the United States, through child-focused programs in health, education, economic opportunities, protection and humanitarian relief. In the developing world, Save the Children's efforts span Africa, Latin America, the Newly Independent States, the Middle East and Asia.

  • On March 26, 2005 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted the 3rd Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge at Basketball City in Manhattan. This tournament has grown enormously and has become one of the most popular events in New York, with more than 40 teams comprising over 150 players. The competition was as intense as ever with Footzprintz Consulting, led by Trever Holland, winning their 2nd championship in 3 years in the A division, while newcomers to the tournament, NY Metro, led by Bernard Mitchell took the B division.

  • On March 21, 2004 the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge at Basketball City in New York City. This year's event was an even greater success as 44 teams competed in a fantastic day of 3 on 3 basketball. It was great to see so many people back from last year as well as so many new faces. Once again, the action was intense and competitive, but fun, as we had athletes of all different talent levels between the ages of 18 and 65 compete for the championship.   • On Saturday November 22, 2003, the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation held its 2nd benefit concert with Tramps Like Us: The Ultimate Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Tribute. The event was a great success, as over 400 people attended the show at the Lions Den, raising close to $7,000. Honoring Marc through the music of Springsteen is a very special way for family and friends to remember him.

    It was great to see so many people in attendance. Special thanks to our sponsor Jameson, CEG Music for their efforts and to all our supporters. In addition, a very special thanks to Tramps Like Us, for their dedication and commitment to our foundation.

  • On April 26, 2003, the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation presented "Tramps Like Us," the Ultimate Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tribute at the Lions Den on Sullivan Street in New York City. This event was a great time, as it was a true celebration of music and great memories.

    Among other things, Marc was a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. In addition to his passion for Bruce, Marc enjoyed many nights in the village going to see Tramps Like Us re-create the magic of Bruce and the E Street Band with family and friends. Therefore, it is only fitting to pay tribute to Marc and raise money for the foundation in his honor with a special performance by Tramps Like Us, in their first appearance back in Greenwich Village in five years.

  • On March 29, 2003, the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation hosted a 3 on 3 Basketball Challenge Tournament at Basketball City in New York City. This event was a great success as it brought together many people, of many different talent levels to compete in an organized tournament. We thank everyone for their generosity and commitment to competing in the tournament and to those for dedicating their valuable time.
